Bill Richardson, Idiot Governor

New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson has endorsed Barack Obama because "he stands the best chance of bringing this country together." Right Bill, a man devoted to a minister and church that has spewed hate for "white America" for years is just the man to bring this country together. Do you really think the voters in this country are that stupid? Why don't you just tell the truth Bill; your calculations led you to believe that Obama has the best chance of beating John McCain in November.

I believe that the non-brain-dead voters are tired of this "bringing the country together" nonsense. The only way I want this country united is behind my political beliefs. Any other honest voter would admit that the only way he or she wants the country united is behind his or her political beliefs. The only sense in which this country will ever be united is against some real and imminent external threat. And that hasn't happened since World War II. It will never be united in regard to internal politics.

To politicians like Richardson and Obama the country is united when they win. The country is united when they have the power to force their socialism on the rest of us. The country is united when they have the power to squelch dissent by labeling it as racist and divisive. The country is united when they have the power to dictate acceptable behavior. The country is united when they have the power to indoctrinate your children. The country is united when they have the power.

Let's keep the power out of their hands. Then we can determine how much they really want the country united.

AMEN! AMEN! AMEN! No one could have said it better. And have you noticed Bill Richardson's new look? His name is not hispanic, his features don't shout hispanic, so what does he do? Check the new facial hair. and most of all. the view from the side of his lengthing "do." All he needs is a zarape and sombrero so he won't have to keep reminding people who he represents. Sorry to seem petty, but politics is all about image and most voters don't get beyond that image unfortunately.

I did see his new facial hair. They were talking about it on Fox News today. It appears that he is positioning himself to be Obama's VP pick.

Honestly,

No one knows the Clintons, Bill and Hillary more than Bill Richardson does. So if he broke ranks with them to endorse Obama doesn't that tell you morons that there is something morally disturbing about Hillary Clinton? I mean the lies, the cover ups, the mis-steps as she keeps labeling her half truths. What more evidence do you need to see. Yes, I was as disturbed by Pastor Wright's comments as the normal person but that doesn't mean Obama shares all of his views down to every thought and every word. Just like I challenge my Pastor when he says things out of context or that I feel out of line. Remember, we as Christians are to fellowship to worship Jesus Christ not to worship the pastor. That is where so many mis-led worshippers fall and get hoodwinked. Yes, you should hold your pastors accountable for representing the word of GOD, but you also as it is written understand, that they are just as easy to succumb to sin, and make mistakes as the rest of us. So when I see a perfect being in GOD's likeness who wants to comment and pass judgement, I will kneel before the alter in front of him/her.

However, it's time for the divisive politics that have engulfed us as a nation since the Willie Horton ads of 1988 intended to destory Michael Dukakis, the stolen Bush Election of 2004, the Ferryboat ads that killed John Kerry's chances and now the Jeremiah Wright pasting together of different sermons from over 6 years ago done to try and destroy Obama's momentum of uniting our party (for once) and uniting the country.

Hillary Clinton seems not to care whether she destroys the party down the middle or not as long as it serves her personal interest. I for one don't think she should drop out until after the May primaries. But all this infighting is making a dweeb like John McCain, like Dubya before him, someone inexperienced at anything domestic, more a favorite to win the general election and the economy will fall flat and never get up.

Reggie, I absolutely agree with you that there is something morally disturbing about Hillary. But I disagree with you on Barack's brand of togetherness. I'd rather the country be divided than united around his socialism. I regret that the first black man with a real chance of becoming President is a flaming liberal.

If you read any of my other posts you might have found that I'm not very happy with the Republican candidate either.
